RED instructor wins Champions League tickets in competition

The winning instructor of our competition for a pair of tickets to the Champions League game between Manchester City and Barcelona has been revealed as Alan Handford, from Cheltenham.

We recently gave all of our instructors the chance to get their hands on a pair of the tickets, simply by finishing the sentence ‘RED are champions because…’ with a witty and original answer.

Despite facing tough competition, Alan impressed us with his football-themed entry: ‘RED are champions because our KOMPANY provides more than a SILVA service… So take HART, stop MESSIng about and PIQUET up the phone.’

As well as tickets to the match, which takes place on 24 February, the prize includes corporate hospitality in a box hosted by Vauxhall.

Alan couldn’t believe his luck, but still managed another pun through his excitement: ‘POYOL the other one!’

RED received lots of great responses to the competition, and congratulations goes in particular to Sally Heath, Matt Baker, Findlay Munro and Kevan Harding, who have been commended for the quality of their answers.
