This course is ideal for all drivers who may be exposed to driving in adverse weather conditions.
We provide participants with hands-on experience driving in snow and icy conditions. Our experienced trainers will guide participants through how to drive safely in these conditions, as well as highlight the limitations and potential hazards of a standard road vehicle.
During the classroom portion of the course, participants will receive a comprehensive briefing on winter driving, including tips on journey planning, equipment to be carried, tyre type and checks, and more.
They will also learn a different approach to driving in adverse weather conditions that utilises the vehicle’s technology and abilities.
Our course is flexible and can be tailored to your needs. We offer half-day, full-day, and two half-day options, with flexible hours available on request. Half Day: 09:00 – 12:30 or 13:00 – 16:30. Full Day: 09:00 – 16:30
The course can be conducted at any suitable location in the UK. This can be agreed when booking.
Our trainers can meet delegates at most locations, providing there is a suitable location to leave their car for the duration of the assessment.
If the assessment is taking place in an urban area then the trainer may be able to travel via public transport.
This course is for anyone who wants to drive smarter and save more money on fuel costs. It’s suitable for drivers of all levels, from beginners to experienced drivers.
